June 25th 2007, Betty Williams and the Mayor of Scanzano Jonico Salvatore Iacobellis, inaugurate the first seat of World Centers of Compassion for Children International in the Baronial Palace of Scanzano Jonico.   It is the dream of Betty that is realized after 4 years.
At the central seat, formation courses on "Education to Peace" and conferences on the theme of Peace will be held.
